University of Tübingen ranks highly in the CHE thanks to programs in the Department of Business and Economics University of Tübingen ranks highly in the CHE thanks to programs in the Department of Business and Economics =============================================================================================================== CIVIS Highlights 11 dicembre 2023 The Department of Business and Economics at the University of Tübingen is celebrating outstanding success in the latest CHE ranking - the most comprehensive and detailed ranking of German higher education institutions: the department's Master programs achieved excellent marks in numerous categories, positioning it as one of the top locations for prospective business experts. ![](/storage/files/ut-neue-aula.jpg) photo: University of Tübingen Top positions were achieved in all key areas for successful study. For example, Tübingen was ranked in the top group for both Business Studies and Economics in the categories of study organisation, digital teaching elements, range of courses, supervision by teaching staff, research orientation, support for studying abroad, support during studies, transition to Master's studies, general study situation and completion within a reasonable period of time. In addition, the Business Administration program received top marks in the category of practical relevance in teaching. The economics degree programs also scored highly in the area of publications per professor. A well deserved recognition --------------------------- Professor Taiga Brahm, Dean of Studies at the Department, is delighted with the results: > *These positions in the CHE ranking confirm the continuous efforts of all teaching staff to create excellent teaching and learning conditions. We are proud to be able to offer our students an environment that is not only academically demanding, but also focuses on individual support and innovative teaching methods.* The students are also impressed. One of them made it clear in the free-text responses to the ranking: > *The teaching staff are very well trained, both professionally and personally. As a result, the competent teachers create a fruitful access to knowledge for good further education at the University of Tübingen.* This ranking underlines the outstanding quality of education provided by the Department of Business and Economics. Students benefit not only from excellent supervision and practical teaching content, but also from a modern, digital learning environment. The results of the CHE ranking also reflect the commitment of the Department of Business and Economics.
